GS Engineering & Construction Introduces 'Mini Storage Attic'... “Residents Can Store Their Items”

Remote Management of Self-Storage via the Xi Home App[Edaily Reporter Park Ji-ae] GS Engineering & Construction announced on the 29th that it will introduce a personalized storage service ‘Mini Storage Attic’ in the Xi complex in collaboration with the storage service company Second Syndrome.
Advancing from the existing offline community, it is expanding into a residential experience that connects online and offline through a mobile app.
The personalized storage service ‘Mini Storage Attic’, to be introduced in GS Engineering & Construction's Xi, is a smart storage service optimized for residents' lifestyles, allowing them to freely store items in common areas when they lack storage space within their units and retrieve them when needed.
Residents of Xi can choose from various types of storage options tailored to their lifestyles such as camping gear, large clothing, and books, and utilize features like storage item data management, temperature and humidity monitoring for systematic environmental control, and Internet of Things (IoT)-based remote opening and closing control through the apartment's integrated service app ‘Xi Home’.
Additionally, further discussions are underway to consider additional benefits such as an insurance system to minimize loss of items and free transportation service to nearby points exclusively for residents.
A GS Engineering & Construction representative stated, “This collaboration with Second Syndrome is an example of extending the experience-based premium community philosophy that Xi pursues to the functionality of space,” adding, “We will continue to discover services that can solve the inconveniences of residents' daily lives and set new standards for residential culture.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Mini Storage Attic’ service in collaboration with the premium brand Xi and Second Syndrome is currently the number one brand in the domestic self-storage industry, with 80,000 members and a total of 180 branches, achieving a 91.5% reuse rate as a new concept residential service.
