Mini Storage Attic, New Locations Opened at Daejeon Yongmun Station and Bundang Su-nae Station
Self-storage (shared storage) operator Second Syndrome has opened 2 new locations for its ‘Mini Storage Attic,’ expanding its national footprint.

The newly opened locations include ▲Daejeon Yongmun Station and ▲Bundang Su-nae Station, making a total of 2 locations. Through this expansion, Second Syndrome solidifies its position as a leading self-storage brand with the most locations in Korea, totaling over 220, by extending its service reach to Daejeon, a key city in the Chungcheong region, and the southern Bundang area in the Seoul metropolitan area.
The newly opened locations were strategically designed to reflect the characteristics of each commercial area and residential environment. This is a case that embodies Second Syndrome's years of accumulated know-how in space transformation, redefining the value of underutilized assets and reconstructing them with high-efficiency storage infrastructure, achieving operational efficiency and scalability through structural innovation rather than simple remodeling.
Daejeon Yongmun Station represents a case where a partner that is already in operation has opened an additional location, demonstrating verified stable profitability and operational model.
The 'Mini Storage Attic' has established Space Intelligence based on AIoT technology at all locations, enabling completely unmanned automated operations. It maintains proper temperature and humidity to safely store customer belongings and has a system in place to continuously monitor the internal situation of branches from headquarters, allowing for quick responses in case of accidents.
A unique nationwide mobile app provides a one-stop experience for everything from contracting to usage 24 hours a day, which is a strong point for customer experience. Users can preview the size of storage units and the flow of the facility by visiting the locations directly through the 'tour function' before signing a contract.
Thanks to this user-centric service, it is gaining positive responses not only from individual customers but also from small business owners, freelancers, and online sellers. The average usage period per customer is about 11 months, indicating a high proportion of long-term usage.
A company representative stated, "Due to the increase in single-person households and rising housing costs, demand for efficient space utilization is increasing." He added, "With last year's amendment to the Building Act further solidifying our operational base within urban areas, we plan to aggressively expand locations this year to continue broadening our customer touchpoints nationwide."
