Mini Storage Darak, Popup Store at Hyundai Department Store Apgujeong Main Branch Concludes Successfully

‘Mini Storage Darak’ operator Second Syndrome (CEO Hong Woo-tae) announced that the pop-up store held at Hyundai Department Store Apgujeong Main Branch from April 10 to 16 for one week was successfully concluded.

This pop-up store was the first ever in Korea's self-storage industry, and it focused on introducing Mini Storage Darak as a storage service closely tied to everyday life to general consumers who are not yet familiar with self-storage.

At the pop-up store site, items and spaces actually stored in Mini Storage Darak were arranged in various sizes so visitors could see them firsthand, and it was designed to introduce it to visitors as a practical alternative for making better use of personal spaces such as homes or offices. Through this, it became an opportunity to intuitively experience the need for self-storage while using Mini Storage Darak more diversely and efficiently.

During the event period, the site was bustling with visitors who usually felt the need for better space utilization, including Darak, and after showing interest in the self-storage service and receiving consultations, some went on to purchase long-term passes. Beyond simple brand exposure, it achieved meaningful results by gaining genuine interest as well as momentum in attracting new customers.

A representative of Second Syndrome said, "This pop-up store was a meaningful occasion where we were able to directly convey the value of a storage service closely tied to everyday life to people who have not yet experienced self-storage," adding, "Going forward, through offline events and more, we will continue to strengthen our points of contact with customers by broadly presenting ways for more people to use their own space more widely and efficiently through Darak."

Meanwhile, Mini Storage Darak is a leading domestic self-storage brand, currently operating 220 branches nationwide and has 100,000 cumulative members. It provides spaces of various sizes where people can store unnecessary items near their home or office, and maintains a pleasant environment where items can be stored safely using AIoT technology, thereby increasing customer satisfaction.
