Starting with Seocho-gu, densely populated residential areas such as Seongbuk-gu and Gwanak-gu were selected first, and 10 branches will open sequentially by September. It is designed so that nearby residents with insufficient storage space can use it at an affordable cost.

The Technology is Applied Exactly as in DaLock

The storage is operated as a 100% unmanned system. Reservations, payments, and access control are done through a smartphone app, and appropriate humidity control and CCTV security devices are also applied. It is the exact same method that DaLock has been operating in over 220 branches nationwide.

Hwang Sang-a, president of SH, stated, "We have converted the vacant semibasement spaces into practical facilities," and added, "We will continue to discover projects with high citizen tangibility."

A Model First Recognized by the Public Sector

This collaboration is not just a simple partnership. It means that a public institution has recognized self-storage as part of the urban infrastructure. As a model for returning abandoned, idle spaces to residents as practical services, SH Corporation selected DaLock as the operator.

Following the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's establishment of the 'Shared Storage Facility' usage category, and the National Pension Service's New Economy designation, it has now expanded to public partnership projects.
