Mini storage attic
"Can an Abandoned Warehouse Become a Golden Goose?" An Honest Investment Review of Darak by a Large-Corporation Building Owner
Hello, this is the self-storage service ‘Mini Warehouse Darak’.
Anyone who owns a building can relate to a common concern: making use of ‘effective space’.
Although they clearly exist inside my building, they are dead spaces that remain vacant for long periods or are used only to pile up miscellaneous items, making it impossible to expect any revenue. We share the vivid story of one large-corporation investor who wondered how to revive the value of this space and turn it into profit.
Q. Ineffective space with no revenue—how did you come to think of self-storage?
"Among the assets we own, there were quite a few spaces that had long-term vacancies or were just left as ordinary storage. They were generating only maintenance costs, not revenue.
While looking for different ideas and thinking about how to increase the value of these spaces, I came across the brand 'Mini Warehouse Darak.' The concept of offering underused space in the city as a service, beyond simply storing belongings, felt fresh."
Q. You have to be careful with investments. Weren't there any concerns or worries?

"Of course, I had many concerns. The two biggest worries were:
Profitability:
I wondered whether such an unfamiliar idea as self-storage could really generate profit.
Security and safety:
It’s a business that stores other people’s valuable belongings, so I was concerned about how we could take responsibility for safety issues such as security incidents or damage to items.
Q. Among so many brands, what was the decisive reason you ultimately chose ‘Darak’?
"Darak answered my concerns with concrete data and systems.
First, perfect security. The fact that not only were dual-security vendors integrated, but cameras installed throughout and a real-time monitoring system in place to prevent incidents in advance gave me confidence. It was a level incomparable to ordinary warehouses.
Second, proven profitability. Rather than vague rosy prospects, they showed me the actual revenue data from other branches already in operation, without embellishment. Seeing with my own eyes how profits stabilize after a certain period gave me confidence. The transparent indicators Darak showed ultimately won me over."
